The Office for Mac team is working to get the VLSC site to be a little more agile and start updating the full VL installer monthly, but that may take a couple of months before it's finally doing and combo updates are coming very soon (next release, I believe), however, they will continue to be larger (hundreds of MB) compared to the Office 2011 combo updates (~100 MB). You can apply updates downloaded from any other official Microsoft source, which includes Office 365, Microsoft announcement pages or the static fwlinks:

However, the Volume License download portal has been falling behind in keeping up with the monthly update cadence the Office for Mac developers are using now. Bottom line: When someone else sees an update but you don't, that means the update hasn't synced with your region's server yet. We have static links for each product (see below). Usually, they'll be in sync within day or less.Īlso, depending on your region of the world, you'll pull your updates from one of three sites: Dublin (primarily for Europe), Puerto Rico (primarily for North America) or Singapore (primarily for Asia/Pacific). These are different channels and one may receive the new bits before the other. I'm seeing several comments where I can shine some Office 365 customers and the stand-alone downloadable updates should be available around the same time.
